Hi, I'm Kelly
I’ve been the proud Salon Director of Uppercutz for almost 10 years and a passionate hairdresser for nearly two decades.
Owning a salon was always a dream of mine, and I feel incredibly lucky to have made it a reality. When my boss (and mentor) decided to retire, I had the opportunity to take over Uppercutz, and I’ve never looked back.
My journey in hairdressing started in a local salon where I trained, but I was also fortunate enough to travel regularly to London for advanced training and even take part in stage work. Those early experiences helped shape the stylist I am today, and I’ve been privileged to learn from some of the best in the industry.
Hairdressing isn’t just a job for me, it’s a true passion. I love being creative, exploring new trends and techniques, and learning every single day. What makes it even better? The incredible team I get to work alongside. They’re my biggest supporters, and I’ll always be theirs.

Mandy - senior stylist at Uppercutz
Mandy has been by my side since day one, and I’m so proud to have her as one of our fabulous senior stylists at Uppercutz.
She loves to be creative with short, razored styles and men’s haircuts, let’s not forget, she’s the undisputed Queen of Perms! Her skills, experience, and eye for detail make her an invaluable part of our salon.
Mandy is a huge part of our team. Supportive, passionate, and always lifting others up, we’re so lucky to have her.
You’ll find Mandy in the salon on Thursdays and Fridays.
Fiona - Senior Stylist at Uppercutz
Fiona has been in the hairdressing industry for almost 15 years and has been a vital part of the Uppercutz team for the past four. As one of our fabulous senior stylists, she brings incredible skill, creativity, and unwavering support to everything she does.
Fiona has a real passion for hair—especially colour. She recently completed her Goldwell Colour Master certification at the Goldwell Academy in London, further proving her commitment to mastering her craft.
With a Degree in Fine Art, Fiona’s flair for creativity shines through in her work every day from colouring to cutting, her artistic eye makes her work truly stand out.
You’ll find Fiona in the salon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Gina - Senior Stylist at Uppercutz
Gina is one of our amazing senior stylists and brings over 14 years of experience to the Uppercutz team. She joined us four years ago and has been a huge part of our salon ever since, always supportive, always dedicated.
Gina specialises in precision cutting for both women and men, with training from the Toni & Guy academy. Her time there gave her exciting opportunities to work and live in London.
Gina recently completed her Goldwell Colour Masters at the Goldwell Academy in London. She’s especially passionate about colour and loves getting creative to deliver stunning, personalised results for every client.
You can find Gina in the salon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and alternate Saturdays.
Misty - Our fantastic Receptionist and salon assistant at Uppercutz
Misty has joined the team as a receptionist and salon assistant. She is a qualified stylist with lots of experience, but she has taken a step back with hands on hairdressing, her knowledge and experience are super helpful when advising clients, booking appointments or assisting the girls.
She has become an extremely valued member of the team and she fits in perfectly.
Misty keeps us organised, she's super smiley, and she makes a delicious coffee.
